About
This is a small, independently run tool that extracts audio from video links and hands it back as an MP3 file. That is the whole product. There is no app, no account system, no subscription, and no roadmap full of features nobody asked for.
Why it exists
This category has a bad reputation, and mostly it has earned it. Sites in this space are known for fake download buttons sitting next to the real one, redirect chains that bounce you through three pages before anything happens, countdown timers that exist purely to serve another ad impression, and prompts to install a browser extension that has nothing to do with converting audio.
We built this because that experience is unnecessary. Extracting an audio track is a simple operation. The interface should be one box and one button, and the file should arrive without an obstacle course in between.
Who it is for
Mostly people who want to listen to something offline. Students saving recorded lectures for a commute. Language learners keeping listening material they will play repeatedly. People following long interviews or discussions that happen to have been published as video. Creators pulling audio back out of something they uploaded themselves.
Around eight out of ten visits come from a phone, and many are on connections that are not fast. That single fact shaped most of the decisions here: no heavy scripts, no background video, no layout that shifts around while things load, and buttons sized for thumbs rather than a mouse pointer.
Languages
The site is fully translated into English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Italian, Turkish, Arabic and Russian. These are complete localised pages rather than a translation widget bolted on top, and Arabic is laid out right-to-left properly.
A tool that only speaks English excludes a large share of the people who need it most. Guessing at unfamiliar buttons is a poor experience no matter how well the underlying thing works.
How it is funded
Advertising, and nothing else. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no card details are ever requested. We would rather state that plainly than pretend a free service costs nothing to run.
What we do not do is let that funding degrade the product. No interstitials before the download, no fake buttons, no forced waits, and no software bundles.
What we are honest about
Two things worth stating directly rather than burying:
Conversions sometimes fail. That is normal across every tool in this category. Private, deleted, age-restricted and region-locked videos cannot be reached, and commercially licensed music carries additional restrictions that make it the first thing to break anywhere. If something fails repeatedly, the contact page is the right place to report it.
Being able to convert something is not the same as being allowed to. Content you uploaded yourself, public domain works, and openly licensed material are fine. Commercially released music, films, audiobooks and paid courses are not, however easy the extraction happens to be. The responsibility for knowing the difference sits with the person doing the converting. Our copyright policy explains how rights holders can reach us.
